Kelly has been married to Brian, Senior Pastor of Calvary Murrieta, for 42 years. They have two children and five wonderful grandchildren! She loves being a wife, mom, and grandma, and feels privileged to have the opportunity to serve Jesus full time.
Kelly has been the Director of the Women’s Ministry at Calvary for about 38 years and loves what she does. She has a passion to see women grow in their faith and become doers of the Word, not hearers only. She is a Bible teacher, a devotional writer, and author of a Bible Study series called “Reasons to Rejoice.” She also enjoys being part of the Leadership team of When She Leads.
Concerning Human Trafficking and other injustices, she has a passion to advocate for the rights of the oppressed and exploited, and to “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” Kelly feels compelled to do whatever she can to help “ensure justice for those being crushed.” (Proverbs 31:8-9) Kelly volunteers for various anti-human trafficking non-profits whenever possible, and oversees the Justice Ministry at her church, working to help people figure out how to use their gifts, talents, and finances in fighting this battle. For the last 15 years, she has overseen “Justice Matters” Sunday, which helps educate people on human trafficking and find ways to help. She also loves to serve in her community and volunteers with various other organizations, including Rebirth Homes, California Family Life Center, and the Murrieta Food Pantry.
As far as hobbies go, Kelly loves to run, cycle, hike, and anything else that burns calories! She loves to read, eat, play with her grandkids, travel, go to the beach, and find ways to share Jesus with her world!
Joy served for 20 years on the mission field in Eastern Europe alongside her husband, Phil Metzger. A devoted mother of four and proud grandmother of five, Joy now calls San Diego home, where she continues her ministry at Calvary San Diego. With deep compassion and vision, she single-handedly founded Better Together, a special needs ministry that creates a space for every family to be fully included in the life of the church. Through this ministry, children, teens, and young adults with special needs are paired with trained buddies who support them in their classes, youth group, or the main service—allowing parents the freedom to engage in worship and serve the church community. Joy’s life is marked by a heart for inclusion, service, and the belief that we truly are better together.

Jayden is a seventeen year old who LOVES JESUS! Jayden has a heart for Gen-Z and is a part of the revival that is happening in the youth! The Lord is moving so fervently through the hearts of the kids in this generation, and she is called to pave the way for more kids to be set on fire for Him.
In the past year, Jayden has started a ministry called Ekklesia Youth (Ekklesia: greek word for gathering of believers). It is a completely student-led night where kids and local youth groups gather for worship, testimonies, and fellowship. Each event has been so powerful, it is incredible to see so many kids on fire for Jesus. She is looking forward to seeing what more the Lord has in store for Ekklesia and the youth of the community.
As far as being a normal teenager, Jayden attends Packinghouse Christian Academy and is in her senior year. She plays on the basketball and cross country teams and plays drums on the worship team. Jayden loves to snowboard and surf and her happy place is at the beach.
